Planetary Operations at Space Pole : Proba microsatellites. This a description of PROBA V microsatellite.

The PROBA V satellite which is not bigger than a washing machine is designed to monitor daily the status of the global vegetation with a spatial resolution 1/3 km. After the successful launch on May 6, 2013 an intensive commissioning phase was started to validate and calibrate the Space Segment, Ground Segment and Processing Facility. Moreover, PROBA V carries the EPT radiation monitor (UCL and IASB-BIRA) which B.USOC is the operation centre.
